慈济9日卫塞佛诞节, ，敬邀大众出席“浴佛大典”

五月是佛誕日，是溫馨的母親節，也为众生付出，為了結合報三寶恩、報父母恩、報眾生恩之涵意，台灣佛教慈济基金會马来西亚沙巴亞庇聯絡處設於五月九日衛塞節上午八点至下午二点，在位於里卡士會所開放予民眾前來浴佛、供燈祈願。

浴佛慶典将于八点三十分至九点三十分，以整齊、莊嚴、隆重的方式禮敬諸佛，感念佛恩、親恩、眾生恩；為了表達對佛陀的恭敬，人人虔诚唱诵赞佛偈，献花香，礼佛足，借由花香，法香，德香化做一般心灵之香，用靜寂清澄的心，為自己、為災民、更為天下人祈福，接着以唱诵大回向圆满。

這項《禮佛足》浴佛活動現場佈置了一處典雅莊嚴的浴佛區，邀請民眾進行禮佛足、點燈供佛和填寫祈願卡，同時尚有43周年庆静态展以及免費供齋，大眾受邀同來共襄盛舉， 一起来感受礼赞的殊胜庄严 。

今年慈济志業靜態展的主題的《靜思勤行道，慈济人間路》，亦因近來全球金融風暴導致經濟低迷，證嚴上人呼吁人們守持著「清平致富」的理念，以便擁有輕安自在的生活。
慈济透過浴佛活動也將分享有關慈济志工的心路歷程，並以慈善、醫療、教育與人文四大志業的發展與大眾進行交流與分享。

An Biography of Acharya Jamyang Lekshey

Acharya Jamyang Lekshey will be arriving in Sabah Kota Kinabalu Sakya Centre on this coming Saturday, 9th May 2009, here is his biography for sharing:

Acharya Jamyang Lekshey was born in 1957. He entered monastic life at the age of 8 years old. He received his monastic education in Sakya Center, Pajpur, Dehra Dun, India.

In 1972 he joined Sakya College and completed Buddhist philosophy, Meditation and other related subjects thus awarded Khachupa (equivalent to Bachelor Degree) and then Lhopon (equivalent to Master Degree).

His Holiness The 41st Sakya Trizin, appointed Acharya Jamyang Lekshey as the Resident Teacher of Singapore Sakya Tenphel Ling from 1984 to 1989.

After he completed his posting in Singapore, he was appointed the General Secretary of Sakya Centre, Sakya Institute and Sakya Nunnery which he has been managing and administrating till now.

Acharya Jamyang Lekshay has also travelled widely abroad to propagate Buddha-Dharma of our Pal Sakya Tradition, to USA, Europe, UK, Australia, Canada and South East Asia.

He also founded Sakya Drogong Ling in Spain and Sakya Thupten Ling, UK in 2004. He also has many Western disciples in USA and Europe.
